Our Appearance at the Webfest Berlin

The Webfest Berlin is an international festival that focuses on serial narrative moving image formats online. These digital formats offer a unique basis for further developments in serial narration and are attracting an ever-growing audience worldwide. Therefore, I, as a researcher in the field of moving images, was very happy to be invited to take part in a panel discussion within the framework of the festival. In the panel I discussed with filmmakers and producers the role of empirical research in film and series production with a focus on digital formats. A central theme was the investigation of emotional processes in film reception, which brings with it diverse potentials for the work of filmmakers.
