Quantitative Evaluation: Perception of Lower Saxony as a Startup Location

Niedersachsen.next GmbH is the central agency for innovation promotion in Lower Saxony, operating under the authority of the state government. The company emerged from a strategic realignment and renaming of the former Innovationszentrum Niedersachsen to consolidate existing state initiatives and foster cross-sector collaboration. Its initiative, Niedersachsen.next Startup, was launched to promote the startup culture in Lower Saxony and serve as a central hub for the startup community.

House of Research has been commissioned by Niedersachsen.next to conduct a quantitative evaluation of the perception of Lower Saxony as a startup location. The aim of the study is to assess the visibility and effectiveness of the Machen Einfach Machen marketing campaign, as well as the overall attractiveness of Lower Saxony for startups. Special focus is given to both current and aspiring startup founders, as well as other key players in the startup ecosystem in Lower Saxony and nationwide. The results will help improve strategic communication and further develop targeted support initiatives.
