For the National Centre for Early Prevention, House of Research conducted the fieldwork for a nationwide representative survey of parents in Germany. The complex research design included, among other things, a multilingual online questionnaire for parents and a corresponding questionnaire for doctors (CAPI and PAPI). House of Research was able to recruit 297 doctors throughout Germany, who helped enroll 7,835 parents into the study. Throughout the fieldwork period, House of Research engaged in comprehensive field monitoring and management, providing real-time information on the participation rates at each doctor’s office.
Comprehensive information and publications on the study are available on the website of the National Center for Early Prevention.
As a supplement to the representative study, an online survey was carried out on over 100 Ukrainian parents having fled to Germany with young children. Furthermore, 20 in-person native language interviews were conducted with Ukrainian parents living in Berlin. The parents were recruited via family and neighbourhood centres, through social institutions, shelters and other services for Ukrainian refugees.
House of Research provided elaborate methodological reports on the quantitative and the qualitative parts of the study.
